The NORDBLOC.1 design enables installation of stronger bearings compared to the previous NORDBLOC series. This results in higher permissible radial and axial forces and a longer service life. Gear motors that utilize the helical inline design can be implemented with direct motor attachment.
The aluminum housing is lightweight and its smooth surfaces have inherent corrosion protection even without paint, although paint is offered as an option. For additonal surface protection in extreme operating environments, including hygienic, caustic, and heavy wash-down areas, nsd tupH Sealed Surface Conversion System is also available.
